Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15th 1960) was an American actress. In the TV and film industry, she's known for her many awards and nominations. Bassett was raised in New York New York and was raised by her aunt who lived in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett, her mother and sister moved into St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was just five. The father of the family had separated from their mom. Bassett was in high school and, saw John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she was inspired to be an actor. Yale University New Haven Connecticut was where she earned her bachelor's degree in African American and master's degrees (1983). Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they tied the knot. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Master of Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grades), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her lead parts, Ramonda, in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
